I must say, in all the places that count the way a woman looks is not that critical. Hmm, that's not QUITE what I mean - I mean, my wife looks beautiful to me, maybe not in a "pinup" kind of way (as Shartley put it), but that's not the way I'm interested in.

It's like I've often told her, that kind of beauty is designed for looking good when you are walking down the street - its for OTHER people. So, when I see some girl and she has the huge ta-ta's, well the fact that they are huge means I can appreciate them, even though she's fully clothed and all I get is a quick look - but when I'm with MY wife, well she's all I want and more.

I'm not sure this is making any sense, but I think Shartley knows what I mean, and prolly all you guys with good ol' ladies out there know what I mean, and you young 'uns ain't gonna understand until you get there - and if you're old and STILL don't understand - get off the internet and get a life!

Once again, we're in agreement! Well I'm only 22 so I don't think I quite qualify as old, but I do understand what you're saying. I just prefer to label myself as wise beyond my years

The most beautiful woman I've ever known was named Sacha. She was not the type of girl who men would oggle on the street. If fact there is a very low possibility they would even look twice. She was easy enough on the eyes, but she just didn't have that magazine girl thang goin' on.

If I showed you a picture of Sacha, you'd probably say something to the effect of "she looks nice". However, if you spent ten minutes in her presence, you would LOVE her. Or maybe it was just me. The more time I spent with her, the more beautiful she became.

I think it's far better to have it that way than the other way around. You're lucky men.

lol fatman i agree she is hot both of course i supposedly have bad eye sight to being with(1 month ago they said i had 20/16 vision i took an eye test forschool today and completly failed it) so maybe im wrong. anyway even though im 15 i feel as if i found "the one"(everyone feels shock as a i say because they think im a dope) she is the most beutiful person i have ever met. i still look at the butts and and the hooters on other girls but when i look at her i get this really weird feeling as if my spirit is rising.(i sound like im on coke or something jesus)

Hehehe if I had any more it'd be unhealthy! I'm just saying there seems to be a distinct difference of priorities in women you just want to um...hook up with, and women you want a lasting relationship with. Personality counts in the latter choice.

As to your last point. Yeah, I fully agree. I know a girl who is unbelievably hot physically. But she's a raging psychotic witch (to put it lightly). Basically her personality is so bad I (and every man I know) would rather stab myself in the eyes with flaming toothpicks then be around her!

But, I am amazed there is so much agreement on this issue. There is hot, and there is hot. I like to think of it as "long-distance" hot and "up-close-and-personal" hot (GG, I promise you at LEAST have the second kind)! I am often amazed that some of the women who come off to me as being incredibly sexy are NOT the traditional super-model type (skinny, no butt, big hooters, you know). I would give specific examples but there are a number of guys who might get ticked off that I'd say something like that about their wives on the internet.

In all honesty, I think it takes a more developed "sex sense" to pick up on that. I mean, its easy to be impressed by a magazine model, but to recognize a truely beautiful woman dressed in sweats with her hair pulled back takes experience.
