Just out of curiosity, why didn't your wife like the emag? (why did she sell it?)

And it is a sweet cocker.

No offense.. your wife should be flogged, even tortured for selling an EMAG to buy a COCKER!! Why didn't you say something to stop her. Sheesh.. people and their belief of elves making the cocker shoot farther and more accurately than a mag.

*LOL* ... Well I tell you the EMag shot well, but she hated the grips. She isnt a short person, she's 5'11", so her hands arent small. Those damn grips are just too big ... even I found the marker uncomfortable as hell just trying to raise it quickly for a snap shot. That and the weight is just do damn much. The Gen-X3 with a tnak and full hopper is weighs less then the EMag did with a tank, and no hopper.
If they could reduce the size of the battery pack, and the somehow cut down the weight, we might consider shooting one again some day.
She does rip of this thing ... and not one problem with brittle paint at all.

Whats worse was the hard time we had getting rid of the EMag. Man ... finally had to post it to EBay, and part it out, to get a halfway good return on it.

Pardon my vehemence, but you see, when i was 14, i took three years of saved money and got the 'nicest' KAPP cocker. It never, ever, never, ever worked right. Had it timed, worked on, fixed everywhere, still unreliable. The wiesrdest things ever! Finally I got tired and had to sell the cocker for $280 ( That's a BIG markdown from $900 )
Got some money, got a mag, never breaks and shoots faster then the cocker ( with Z-grip )

PS... I would have taken that E-MAG any day!!!

*L* I have had more break downs with a mag then with any of the cockers I have owned.
I am not bashing mags, I championed mags to all my friends from 1992 till about 1997. But even within that time, I always choose my cocker over my mag for various reasons. I equate my feelings for the Mag back then to the spyder of today, its a great entry level tourney class (depending on options) marker.

Overall she finds the cocker better to shoot, being more comfortable, and as she puts it likes to be able to shoot a delrin bolt without having to worry about it flying out the barrel. *L*

She says thanks fot the complament guys.

I think your using your wife as a excuse to buy yourself new markers to play with.

Dang i might have to get re-married!!
