    paintball choices

I'm sort of new to mags (just got an RT about a month ago), and so far I haven't had the best of luck with paint. Anyone use "#1 paintballs", and how do they hold up in a high pressure gun like the mag? What else is good for automags?

dio91- you haven't heard of which? tremor, or #1 paintballs? I've heard marbellizer (sp?) is good, but it's harder to find for cheap.

#1 is ok practice paint, its kinda dimpled and misshapen sometimes but cheap. YOu may have better luck with diablo midnight which is around the same price but usually more round.

Plus it's farely cheap. It's the field paint for all the fields in Albquerque (yea all 3). So it's pretty much all I use. Unless PBA has Proball.

Never heard of #1. just about everybody up here is Zap affiliated, except one place that sells Diablo.

My Favourites are Zap Chronic (Go Ahead, try and wipe this) and JT Advantage Shell.

Nelson Anarchy, good paint for not too much dough. You can usually find it for $47-$48/case online. It is my current favorite.

Oh brother....did no one even want to tackle this issue? Cowards!

tL, go to deep blue and immerse yourself in some logic and facts over what the difference between "operating pressure", "Input pressure" and "Pressure on the Ball" are. Your concluding something that is not logical.

Any decent paint is good in a Mag. I think you should conclude this was not decent paint...for any Marker.

i've never heard of #1 or tremors, but the best paint in my opinion for the money is either PMI premiums or 32* team colors, but if u wat the best marbs are the way to go. i will never trust ZAP again though, after the experience i had with them at a wayne dollack scenario game where they just broke i'll never use them again.

Out on this end of the province blaze is the field paint, except one field which uses PMI advantage for their field paint. I personaly use the advantage.
                            Yum, ZAP grease balls.

I'll admit, I don't know much about the gun. I guess I should have specified blowforward type of guns instead of "high pressure", as they seem to be harder on paint than the spyder style that I was used to. I guess my question should really be; It's going to need premium paint in it, but does some premium paint NOT work in the gun for whatever reason. I'm not sure what makes a paintball premium, other than more consistent "roundness", and thicker paint that won't wipe away. I just didn't want to go out there and spend $70 bucks on a case of paint, only to find out that it works about as good as cheapcrap paint.
