How is this different from the vb img code?

OK - let me clearify...

when you make a post now - at the very bottom you can elect to ATTACH at picture. This allows you to basically DOWN LOAD an image from your computer and place it on OUR server. So people with out server space that want to show off thier guns can now just use the attach option. Of coarse - if you already HAVE the image on the web, its best if you just make link with the [img] tag or HTML.

BUT = if you dont have it already on the web, this is a great way to show people your pics! There is a size limit file wise. And try to keep the physical size less than 600 pixels wide.

So - does that make more sences? I dont think cphilip gets it - nor jonneh - or zvnaut - xspyx does though!!

No! I sure didn't get it. I do now though! Thanks Steve. Problem is all of my pict are already hosted so its not doing me much good at this point. But I can sure see how nice it will be for others.

One thing to add...We Mods cannot take out the hosted picture only. So if you post inapropriate stuff your whole post will come out without comment. But we copy down your User Name and IP for refferal to Webby for action.

ahh, I initially thought it was so that peeps could upload files (ones other than picture files) onto a bit of the forum buffer or something.

I've never had a problem with webspace so i didn't think of it at the time.
