D-Day at skirmish

D-Day is tomorrow!! I have to wake up at 4am to drive all the way out there and then on sunday drive 5 hours back. I'm considering bringing a tent so we can stay sunday and leave early monday tho.

Look for my mag, prolly with my boomstick, or rather better yet, even more unique, look for my buddies shocker that he painted flames on! My mag is in the background with a blue warp.

alright, i'll be leaving tonight to stay over just so we don't gotta get up so early, i'll have my black micro-emag and my proteus will have a skull painted on the front of it, oh yeah what side are u on? my frineds and i are on the germans.

I am going to AO day, but man I would really liked to have gone to D-Day....maybe i'll cut out early and do both. its great when money is no object - eh?

I kinda wanted to be on the german side, but my buddy who is getting us free paint wants to be on the american side..and be the first one off the boat...He's a little tapped.

Can't wait to see you there, we were thinking about going up tonight, but A.) We have never been there and it will be dark, making it easier to get lost, and B.) I made plans to go out with my girlfriend tonight.

EDIT: Is there going to be a trade show of any kind there?

I wouldn't call it a "Trade Show" - probably a handful of vendors and the NationalPaintball semi. That's the way it was at Replicant Run last year. I think we had people from CrossFire, Centerflag, National, Custom Products, Paintball2Xtreme, Tippman and a few others.

I was planning to go since March, then i told my dad a weds that there were 1400 people going and now he said no. Man did i get screwed. But he said that he's gonna pay for me to play both saturday and sunday at my local field and he's gonna pay for me when i go to west virginia w/ my mom next week. But still i'd rather pass up 3 rec days to go to D-Day. I was looking forward to coming off the land crafts and getting mowed down.

I just called up a little bit ago and they said that they had almost 1600 people registered now. I technically haven't registered yet, however my friends brother's aunt/uncle own Skirmish so we are getting free paint and a reserved spot.

ok, so the germans won by 1000 points i believe, i got back to the end late b/c like 100 guys from the germans got lost in the woods, it sucked, oh well. it was a good fun time, but not very well organized. it was so much fun on the beach just mowing people down with the emag and it rocked. i only had like 2 barrel breaks and that was b/c i left the paint in my hopper over night.

also there were a lot more mags that i saw there then ever, not including my micro emag and my friends emag there were about another 7 or so that i saw and a whole bunch more RT's and the like.

also there were some vendors there, like national paintball supply, palmers pursuit shop(glenn palmer is the man, had a nice hour chat weith him), centerflag was there with the purple mag and Raven/kingman was there with some hot girls, i got my frined chris to take his picture with her.

oh well still an awesome event, something like 1775 people were there. hope everyone had fun, also met krazy ivan on sunday right before we left, pretty cool guy. oh well i got some pics so here they come.

My Team won Most Valuable Team for the Americans... It's just too bad I couldn't be there to help them win it.
