    Mag Barrel adaptors

Was having a browse around the Tippmann website and found some funky cocker > m98 adaptors. I was wondering whether anyone has, or has thought of making xxx > mag barrels, as (if my memory of mag barrels is correct) it would only need a threaded bit of tube with a hole and the correctly spaced grooves.

Oh yeah, and i think the flatline barrels deserves to go on every marker ever.

Why would you want to put a FLATLINE barrel on a 'Mag? The only thing I've see a FLATLINE barrel do is eat paint.

Flatline barrels WHEN INSTALLED PROPERLY grant you a great deal of extra range. The ball just freaking goes forever. In most cases, however, there isn't much point in all that extra range. If your playing speedball most times you can shoot across the field with a "regular" barrel. In the woods 'round here with all of the undergrowth distance is irrelevant as well.

OK, I see your point, not trying to make anybody mad. But I
have a friend that put one on a Tipp 98 and tried all kinds of paint, and spent most time squeegeeing his barrel, and you know how much of a pain that is in the field. I will say your right about the distance, but it seems like more trouble than its worth to me.:)

I own a Flatline M98 and take care of a friends', I have not seen any problems with the flatline barrel system. It has only broken paint once, the one which belongs to my friend, and that was because he was using Brand X (yes, my friends. There is actually Brand X paintballs) it broke 1. I attribute the break to the paint. My friend uses this gun like he was born to it, a perfect match to his style of play.

Like I said, I wasn't trying to upset anyone, I opened my mouth without thinking. But what kind of paint do you use?
My friends 98 won't shoot marbs, allstars, bigball or pmi premium, and other types of "quality" paint. Thanks.
