Ok,
The lightbulb above my head just lit up.
Less pressure on the bolt at its resting position in the powertube would translate into less force being exerted on the sear, correct? Would this mean lighter trigger pulls? I just thought this may be another advantage AGD overlooked since probably ALL their testing was done on the E-Mag.
The pull wont get lighter for me since I use a Hyperframe. I did have a problem with the solenoid a while ago. It didnt have enough force to dislodge the sear off the bolt lip. The cause was a loose wire from the solenoid which was fixed. But with Lvl10 it may not have happened at all
WHat Lvl10 may also mean to Hyperframe users is that they can set their sloenoid power setting on the lowest one, meaning more shots per battery =).
Another thing since their is less force being exerted on the bolt/sear would also mean less wear on the 2 parts.
This keeps getting better and better.
Tom, is their anyway you could let us know how much pressure is used in the LP phase of the bolt action versus the HP phase (HP phase should be 350-400).
LMK.
