    paintball sizes

ok well, i know theres probably a thread about this already and research done, but i want opinions on other PLAYERS
but, every paint i've shot, i've done that standard test where you drop a few balls down your barrel(s)
well, all the barrels i have, and paint i've tried, they droped down my barrel
and they're .689 bore barrel. iwas just wondering if there is any size PAINTBALl GOODDD paintball that fits that. all the ones i've tried don't.
JT elite, pmi, proball, zap, diablo blaze. diablo dusk, and some others. pleaseee help

and yes i know, i'm buying a smaller bore size barrel soon anyways so, but still.

Hmmm, are you SURE its a .689 barrel? have you measured it, or is that just what is stamped on it?

Proball is usually pretty big - not Proball Platinum, but plain ole Proball.

Nelson (NelSpat) is usually pretty big.

Most of the Powerball I've played with isn't huge, but is about .689 or so.

.689 is a medium size, I'm surprised that much paint falls down it. I'd start to wonder if that is actually the bore size.

I believe there are tolerances with that rating as with anything. I believe .689 barrels can actually measure as small as .687 and be as big as .691 and stil lbe called a .689 barrel. I know on paintballtimes.com they have a barrel bore (aftermarket and stock) also a paint bore size charts. Check them out..under Technical info.

well is there a place i could like, stick my barrel to the monitor and have it line up with a picture of a circle of each bore size online or something?
                  to me that'd be usefull.

yeah that would be too bad everyone has a dif size moniter and the roundness of the screen distorts images and you prob wouldnt be able to tell the dif just by looking anyway

Yea, if you have a thing like that on your moniter, you wouldn't be able to just eyeball it. You need a measureing device of some kind.

What you want is a dial caliper - if you can't find one, you might get lucky
and get the guy at the harware store to measure the barrel for you with
                          one off the shelf.

Just because it has .689 stamped on doesn't mean it is a .689 barrel. I've seen CP .689's measure out as small as .684, and as big as .692 when the calipers are applied. Good barrels, if you get one that actually is the bore size it claims.
