honestly, I've never tried the Aradus barrel out myself. your best bet though is to take you time, you don't wanna spend that much money and regret it. borrow friend's barrels or look for someone that has an Aradus and ask them. good luck

My local store just got one and it feels kinda cheep. Also when on any setting bigger than the smallest there's a gap between the 2 sides of the tube. I think air would escape there or it would mess with the ball and effect accuracy.

that gap is what makes the bore sizing possible. I'm pretty sure you are referring to the gap i'm talking about. as you make the bore smaller, the gap gets smaller, thus making a tighter fit. when you have a larger bore, it opens up, so it makes a larger bore. get it? i haven't heard of any problems with the gap, actually, i've even heard that it acts as a type of straight rifling. i'll look more into it for you.

here's a pretty good review of the aradus barrel > http://www.pbreview.com/forums/showt...threadid=39514

I mind you though, as far as I know they don't have automag versions yet. I quote from the psycho ballistics site, "The Aradus is available for the following threads:
Tippmann, Spyder, Autococker, Angel, Tippmann A5, Impulse, and more to come..."

also, try to disregard complaints about velocity problems, because like i pointed out before, that was addressed and supposedly fixed by psycho ballistics, and I haven't heard any problems since.

My local shop got one in. Picked it up, looked at it, adjusted it back and forth. Does feel cheap. Would be interested in seeing how it performs, but not really interested in buying it.
