    HEY HEY! RT Pro Arrived!

    Hi everyone,

Brown Santa dropped off my RT Pro today! Thanks to Tom, Jon, and everyone else at AGD! And thanks to everybody who voted and participated in the billboard contest!

RT Pro looks fantastic. I haven't had the chance to fire it yet because my tank has to be tested still. Once I do, I'll let you all know how it goes.

The only thing I'm having trouble is with the barrel. I never seemed to have a problem with my friends mags. It's a chore getting it on. I can't even get it off. I've tried adjusting the detent pin's screw length, but it doesn't seem to help much.

    Am I doing something wrong?

    Once again, thanks everyone!

Put a little oil on them Barrel O rings that sometimes helps to smooth things till it breaks in a bit.

      Nice marker that RT Pro...

For you RTP lovers: I plan on using mine for my very first Lvl 10 beta test. Primarily because so far I have not seen one tried yet on Toms pretrials and I thought it might be nice to report back on one. Then I will move on to the Emag. And we will be doing one Regular mag vavle and one Retro Vavle mag whenever I can get that many kits to try.

          Solved the barrel problem!

Thanks everybody for the suggestions. The lube did the job really well. Slides really easy now.

That oil AGD ships with their guns smells a bit different from Hoppe's 9. It will take some getting used to that AGD smell of glory.

              What?

              What's wrong with Hoppe's 9?

Haven't used the Hoppes yet on the mag, but it worked well on my spyder for 6 years. But I think I'll use the Gold Cup. Whater are the differnces in the two lubes?

One's made for paintball and one is made for real steel. They both get the job done don't they?

Techs, can you chime in please?

I've been using hoppes 9 in my gun for a while and havent had anything bad happen... yet. Is this a bad oil for automags?
To me, clowns aren't funny. In fact, they're kind of scary. I've wondered
where this started and I think it goes back to the time I went to the circus,
and a clown killed my dad.

Don't get Hoppes near your RT-Pro. That is a high-speed mechanical device and Hoppes just won't cut it as an oil.

Gold Cup is okay. In my experience, it tends to discolor the o-rings and they end up getting stiff and eventually cracking or wearing out.

I've been using KC Trouble Free oil in all my guns and have yet to replace a broken or worn out o-ring. It is the only paintball gun oil I will use or recommend. I know Rob_AGD uses KC oil also and has yet to change any o-rings in his RT since he got it new in 96.

have a GREAT time with it. the barrel might be that it is a T shaped barrel lock. I dont know, MINE was when i first got my RT PRO, instaed of the traditoinal 2 L locks it had a T one and I had to learn to turn it just right. I dont know, just throwing out my $.02, hope this might help ya, and again....have a GReAT time with it

Hoppes #9 contains detergents and carriers that will dry the oil, creating a gooey sticky mess if left for too long.

Use legitimate paintball or airtool oils.

I have used KC Trouble free exclusively in my Minimag for at least 5 years now, I have yet to change out any O-ring or seal. Even the reg-seat is original.
