AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Hell Yeah I'd Get One!!!! Please, Tom let me buy one!!! Pretty Please!!

I just realized that the sydarm could qualify as a stock class gun. Thats just me though, recently Ive had a huge interest in getting into stock class games. So yeah, Id prolly get one, stick a level 10 on that jonks and rock it like no tomm. Is it still stock class if you have a double trigger frame ie. Intelliframe?
edit: scratch that I failed to realize it has to be pump to qualify as stock class... BUT there ARE pump mags arent there?
is you can only shoot once each pump, theyres really no use for a 2x trigger. and the intilliframe wouldnt any good because theyres no hopper to hook it up to
coaster arguably the best isnt very good but could be true ion some circumstances. the sidekick semi has problems to say the least. unfortunately it also doesnt have much competition especailly for the price but i dont think i would ever call it the best unless you were wantign a semi in the lower price range. I think one of small semis or the sidearm has it beat by a long shot and if you throw pumps in there pgps and others are better. I would love to have a nice compact side arm. if soemone makes a stock class breech for the xtreme ill buy an extreme, i wanted to buy the sidekick semi especailly when it came out but it has had more thne its fair share of problems so i never have bought one.
Technically, it could be converted to SC, but you'd need to remove the spring in the feed tube... and put the pump kit on it. even that would be stretching it since I have heard of being able to get 2 or even 3 shots off with one pump stroke...
Originally posted by darklord personally I think sidearms are pretty much for looks...they serve no real purpose.
I beg to differ... Last month I played an entire 24-hour scenario game with nothing but a "sidearm" (Not the AGD Sydarm), and it rocked! Yeah, you have to play the game a bit differently, but it's not any less fun, let me assure you.
Oh, and lest you think you can't be effective while being limited to ten shots at a time... I took home the MVP award, so someone must have thought I did things right...

The new PT-based markers actually are beginning to compete with the Sidekick in price, and I think they already have it beat in usability... I use an Armotech Zeus; it, the PT Professional, and the Core Zx 2003 are all essentially the same gun (mainly cosmetic differences). At around $100 apiece, they're in the same price range as the Sidekicks.
And before you say too many bad things about the Sidekick, consider that it fulfills the purpose for which it was designed nearly perfectly. It's the smallest, lightest semi-auto paintgun ever made, which makes it easy to tuck in with the rest of your gear as a backup... which happens to be exactly how it was designed.
A good resource for players who are interested in checking out "sidearms" is the Semi-Auto Sidearms Enthusiasts page, at http://airsoldier.com/~sase/. There's information in the Forum about every paintball pistol you can imagine.
