Can someone make my HL barrel a vert feed???

I have a couple of HL barrels that I need to convert to vertical feed. I don't want the hassle of selling and replacing...plus it is hard to find vert barrels. Anyhoo, if someone out there can mill it and make it work, please post here and let me know. The gun works better with a barrel...

They can be cut down to threaded barrels, but not connverted to VF.

I always thought they could be converted to vert feed, in fact I think people have done it on here before.

They can be, you just need to drill a small notch in the right place.

it can be done, but its prob pretty frustrating to say the least. you would need to find the right way to cut them if your gunna use that L thing

I have a set of prints for the barrels and from looking at them it looks like that would be possible. I have the capability of doing it but I don't have the time right now. If you can find someone who is a machinist they could probably help you. If I have some free time I'll try to let you know.

how about u take the barrel pin off your gun, make sure theres no lube on ur barrel orings so its nice and tight, then just stick the barrel in for whatever feed u want
its not gonna move unless u mess with it, so just hceck it b4 each time u step on the field then u dont need to worry about what kinda feed u got for which barrel, i did it and it works just fine, and u get to pull straight out. haha

I can mill any L slot mag barrel to fit a centerfeed mag. I am a Machinist and I have a fixture that I used to do all of my mag barrels and my team mates barrels. We both have centerfeed Emags. You have to have the exact line-up to hit the exact spot in the slot for the twist lock pin or your barrel will be garbage. If you try to do this yourself you could destory your barrel. Take a look at the pic I have included. Notice the new hole in the twist lock slot. I do this in a fixture that I have made up on a Bridgeport mill. My price is very good and I get cheaper per barrel if you send me more than one at a time. If you want to discuss pricing email me or send me a pm.

Sure, if you want to butcher up your equipment go right a head and do it. I use precision CNC equipment and carbide ball end mills, you use a dremel. That is the difference between a Machinist and a hack with a dremel. You do not buy the equipment I use for 39.99 at Wal-Mart.
