    Alternatives to Flatline

I'm looking for an alternative tank to a Flatline. Don't get me wrong, I have one on my E-Mag and it's great. I just can't find one in stock. So with that in mind, what are some good alternative tanks that are readily available in the $250 range. Adjustable or fixed, no matter. The tank is for my Retro AM.

I would never let a NitroDuck tank near any of my guns.

As for Mac Dev, good tanks, but not on a Mag. Their output is not rated for over 600psi.

I would look into Air America or the PMI Pure Energy regs.

            Buy the best, Max-Flo.

Best tank on the market. Ultra consistent, incredible flow & recharge rates, very reliable.

              Max-Flo

So I can pick one of these up for around $250? Could I even get a good used Max-Flo tank?

System X tanks are good, They are the only ones that kept up with Donggies emagnum board shooting at 30 bps. Check them out at www.modifiedpaintball.com

2 max-flo's on my team yesterday at a tourney, both leaking. They always have problems with them. Don't get one. (Minor leak, they still could play, but had to keep on tinkering with it)

                  I would say get a Pure Energy, I have a 68/3000 steel pre-set one and it's great.

As long as you take care of the O-rings in a Flo, they work just fine. If they're leaking, get a rebuild kit.

System-X I'd avoid, due to massive quality issues with most of their other products (Polycarbonate bolts for an Angel? too bad they shear at the bolt pin)

I myself have been using a friends Angel AIR on my gun and i like it alot (not a mag) but usually i use a Pure Energy tank and i like those too .

If your looking for something similar to the Flatline i would go for the Hyperflows or Dynaflows.

Crossfires have the highest flow rates of all the tanks made during a recent test. ive had some good results with them, however, i opted to get a BE "Eagle Air" 68/3000 adjustable screw in tank. (im now selling it btw for around $150). Center Flags are GREAT, but cost ~$350-400

                              Crossfire is Great

I have a 68 45 crossfire and have never had any problems with it. They are nice tanks, and not real expensive, plus I haven't heard bad stuff about them, and their flow rate is excellent.
