All Halo B owners, a Question.

I am thinking about buying one of the new halos. Whats the verdict on their performance? And if you had the original halo, was there a real difference? I run a vert feed emag, in case you wanted to know the setup. Anyway, I just want to make an informed choice before dumping 100 odd bucks on it.
    X-mag #10. Nuff said.

i dont own one, but I wa told that their is a BIG increase in the rate it feeds at. like the original one was like 15 somebps and now their like 20+some bps. I gotta a question, can you drill a HALO to make it fit right on a warp??

I had a HALO A and then got a HALO B and noticed a big difference. Everything just seemed to work better and it was a lot faster, it was quieter, the controls were a little easier. It is defintatly worth the money.

I also have a vert E. I had the original Halo and had some chops still but with the B I have had no problems. There is a big improvement in performance with the belt drive.

There's no need to drill the halo to fit on the warp, also I don't believe the halo would function correctly after mods like that. There's a pic thread of patron god of pirates and his emag.. he's got an electric blue halo b on a warp and its not drilled.. stil tight but not drilled.

I have a question about those new HALO's. Do they still have that annoying 15 mintue auto shutoff? That was a big reason why I sold my last one. How are they on brittle paint. My last HALO blended up around 3 balls in the loader during a tourney and effectively put me out of the game.

I highly recomend halo b to everyone.
I own a halo b i stuck it on my Emag and gave it to my friend who was a die hard angel freak in less than a weeks time he sold his angel and bought himself an Emag with a halo b.

As a side note as i opened my box the halo b came in i droped the halo b onto the cement it bounced 3 times and went rolling a few feet and i was like omg i killed it and never got to use it, so i walked over to where it rolled to and picked it up, it had a minor scratch and when i plugged in the batteries i started to drool. this hopper will take a major beating.
do yourself a favor get a halo b
God sent his angels to earth because he equiped his team with Emags.

Major improvement over halo a. Wouldn't reccomend drilling it. It holds 180 rounds now, full. Don't want to make less. And it has a really thick shell. You wouldn't interfere with the electronics any by drilling along side the battery pack up front, though.
It is pretty compact as it is on a warp. Excellent hopper. Quieter than the revi I have. Don't believe the 15 min autoshutoff is there. But it does have a single press on, three second hold off now, instead of that press/press, press hold that it had before. Balanced, but heavier than other loaders.

If you want a loader to keep up with max the rate of fire on any marker, you need a Halo B. As a beta tester for the latest Mag innovations, I performed most of the test using a Revy. This was by design, to see if the anti-chop eye and the new L10 valve were doing their jobs. On one of the last tests, TK loaned me his Halo B. My SFL, with all mods, was working had never shot so well or spit out so much paint without a single problem. And that was with some of our most brittle RP Evil team paint. The new Halo's are far and away the best loaders on the market.

                      Warp and Halo B

I have a Halo A, and now another Halo B, I ran both on top of my warp on the emag and had no problems at all. You'll still want to sand down the B a little bit so you can get it in and out of the warp without worrying if you're gonna lose a nut from the warp. I can't say I really noticed any difference between the rev, halo A, or halo B when used on my warp... but then again, isn't that the point? I do like the nice one touch on/off of the new halo tho. I really wouldn't have bought it, but I did for only one reason... now I have a halo that matches my color scheme :) Maybe if I'm enthusiastic enough, I'll take pics for you guys tonight :)

I don't think it has an auto shutoff, I didn't have to turn it back on during my scenario game this past weekend.
