I don't believe anyones going to explian these in this forum. All your friend would need to do is search the forums for listings of Level 7, Level 8, level...etc.

Level 7, AIR Valve, basic mag valve, runs on CO2 or HPA, no shootdown until 16bps.

Level 8, RT Valve, HPA only, reactive trigger, 26+bps without shootdown, banjo bolt+ hardline air source, only fits original RT's.

Level 9, ReTroValve, RT Valve in standard Automag compatible housing, also used in RT Pro & E-Mag.

Level 10, Bolt/powertube upgrade for all valves, level 7 and higher, virtually eliminates chopping.
      2k2 VF Cocker, STO/Eclipse Blade, Old-Style 14" Boomstick,
68AutoMag Classic Feed CF11023, Ring trigger.

They didn't. If you do a search as suggested above, you will find out what Levels 1-6 were.

Level 8 and level 9, are you guys sure about that? I don't think those were ever "official" definitions. When Tom was asked about level 10 he said it was a big change so he when straight to 10.

Level 8&9 are "unofficial", just an easy way to catalogue the two valves without "Level's", levels determined by release date of course.

Level 1-3 was the panther blowback, 4 was Mag prototype, 5 was mag with chamber seperate from barrel, 6 had a seperate powertube. 5 was the first mag sold, virtually every level 5&6 has been upgraded to 7.

anything BELOW lvl 7 is not upgraded AND SHOULD BE. lvl 7 is what the regular AM and MM are right now. Lvl 8 was the ORIGINAL RT(not pro) lvl 9 was the RT PRO, ReTro, and E-mag. and I would hope us all would know what Lvl 10 is. if he is confused what the Lvl's stand for, its basically how the Automag has "evolved" over time. its just how AGD has made changes and named them "lvls"
