                Why woul you take the trigger guard off of your gun? It looks cheesy IMO and it's probably uncomfortable too.
                The only difference between martyrdom and suicide is press coverage.

                  Actually, you should check with the event organizer/whoever will be reffing to see if you need a trigger guard. It's certainly a good idea, but most of the minor tournament series in my area just don't care.
