Lapco Bigshot

got my lapco bigshot today and i was wondering what paint you have found works best with it, from what i've heard PMI perimums work well with the barrel? and it's a .689 right?

(yes i know about the size chart, i want first hand experince though)

Marbalizers go through them nicely. I've seen my buddies 98 shoot rails with a Bigshot. Definetly a good barrel from a respectable company.

i got it friday i just put about 100 proball through it and it shoots nice, it looks alright on my gun, still want a silver color barrel but don't want the added weight of stainless

you should come over i'll let you shoot it, just bring some air

I have shot blave, marbs, team colors, pmi, and even brass eagle They all shot great(the brass is ok). This barrel is great. I have the SS it dose not add that much more weight.

yeah i was goin to get a stainless but they are about 20-30 bucks more and i didn't feel like paying that when i know i'm goin to ditch this barrel soon and get a freak soon

i got my bigshot from actionvillage for $50

on my mag i've used
- stock barrel
- 16" inch all american
- 10" inch boomstic
- 12" Dye stainless
- 14" tear drop
- 11.5" lapco bigshot

none of these were mine except the lapco and the stock barrel


i wanted a freak but didn't have the cash and i didn't want to use the stock barrel until then so i got this barrel

the best paint to cycle through that barrel is nitro duck.the worst paint to cycle is team colors.

Marbs work VERY good in Bigshots.

i HAD a freak, and then saw the beauty of the Lapco. so i sold the freak, bought two lapcos and had $50 bucks left to get a case of paint :)

i've found that marbs are a little too small for aluminum bigshots. PMI premiums work best IMO. my brother uses my old spyder(it has a bigshot on it) and has put about 3 cases of PMI through it without one break, which is incredible considering its a spyder.
