Texas AO meet in Austin????

We just had a AO meet in Fort Worth on the 29th and a lot of ppl had a great time even though the fields AND refs were bad. Sadly not everyone from Tx was able to make it that weekend because the were busy or simply because it was a far drive.

*EDIT* updated info....... ok, This Austin meet is happening on Saturday the 27th of this month at www.pettypb.com as long as you say your with Capo and I field fee, all day air, and BYOP will be 10 bucks even. We WILL have Sup Air up for that day and really hope we get a great turnout. Joe Petty is a good guy so I wanna give him some business. Keep posting on here to let us know everything is a go and you all are coming...

more info---bring chairs...also, there is no netting between the fields so if you bring ppl that want to watch then they must wear a mask(petty's will have some but bring your extras if you got em) . There is no shade in the field area, if you will be watching and think the heat will get to you then bring an umbrella or something.

everyone print out maps from petty's website it is easy to get lost so make sure you have a map!(even print out back-up maps, lol!)

the 26th, 27th, or 28th would be best for me(that is the last fri, sat, sun of this month) because my bro is gonna be in colorado for about a week and a half in the middle of the month and he is my ride. i think we should be able to get a god amount of people... i know spoons and crizo said they would come, and im sure a couple people from houston might be able to come. everyone go check out that link that havoc posted, pettys has got some AWESOME fields and really good prices too. count me in!!! hopefully i will have my new tank, intelli, and warp by then

Wait, got a little too excited.. but I'm game for the last weekend of this month. CRiZO and I will be going as a group, and are willing to take anyone who needs a ride along our way (comming from just north of Dallas, so TXStorm if you need a ride we'll be happy to obligue).

I'd swing by tyler :) CRiZO and I are what you call.. 'loco', but seriously I'd be willing to pick anyone up (wasn't there someone in Tennesse who said they were interested?). Anyways, I wouldn't mind you bringing a case.. of chocolates right ? Personally I'll go for more than four meets a year, as well as in different areas of Texas (for those unlucky souls not in the Sallas or Austin area).

Timing

I am driving back home to San Antonio from Montana during the first week of August. I would love to hook up with some other AO members. Austin is only 55 miles from San Antonio and I would love to meet up with anyone, or if we can set up something in San Antonio.
