SuperMags?

I know i'm around here a lot..but i don't really hang out in the chatrooms much..and i'm sure someone's gonna tell me to stop bugging Tom..but i'm not the worst offender..so there...but i wanted to know (without asking Tom)..if anyone had heard whether or not work was still progressing on the SuperMags (for the uneducated lot, the SuperMags are the aluminum bodied standard mags Tom had shown us a while back)..thanx kiddies..

I don't want an eMag..i know Cphil..it's the trigger..I just like manual markers..it's just a curse i guess..but i've felt pull from the darkside...and I don't know how much longer i can hold out...(me thinks i would make a great SuperMag test pilot..oh well..)

well..i know i seem to stump for things CaPo..but Tom also has referred to it as a SuperMag...so this time i'm not spitting in the rain...

Yeah, I remember that. Tom posted that around the time of the "Pop-up" internet party where everyone email-bombed Mancow. Tom did refer to it as a SuperMag. I think he kinda of didn't it for lack of a better name. If I remember right we were supposed to vote on whether we like different types of milling on the body.

If worse came to worst, you could always build a Extreme Mag, using the E-Mag Extreme body/rail without the electro grip and whatnot. I'f I'm not mistaken, it will work just fine.

I remember the supermag... but why the cocker threads and vert feed!?! I'd like trap door feed and mag twist lock better.

Can someone explain 'trap door'feed?I saw the pics and they were no help.I have zero clue what it does.

A trap door feed is for a warp feed to connect to the side and down instead of strait to the side i think.

Well, the trap door feed is for warpfeed. It's like the warpfeed body but there's nothing on top so you can aim down the top better. It also makes the setup more compact.

well..as far as liigod goes...from what i had heard..Tom had helped Bob out with the trapdoor design..i could be wrong..but that's what i heard...

(and btw..has anyone seen the part in the Traumahead video over Bob's shoulder shooting the trapdoor warp fed Timmy..OMG..it's like a wagner paint sprayer...just a straight line of paint coming out of that gun..hehehehehehhehehehe)

Thanx for clearing that up,too bad I hate warps,I smashed mine with a hammer.Good idea,bad design imo.
