Because LP operating pressure is hype. The Level10 Kit has a low pressure stage. So, it is 'LP' exactly where it needs to be, and not where it doesn't.

The issue of more or less shots comes down to this. It takes so much energy to get a ball moving to 280 fps. if you have a Low pressure system, it takes a larger volume of air to get it up to speed. In a high pressure system the air expands more nad requires lese volume to get the ball up to speed. So in hte end it should work out pretty close as far as air consumption. If im way off base with this. Someone slap me and tell me why.

Yeap, that is true.
LP/HP does not imply efficiency, although efficient valve design can lead to lower pressures.
You can have an LP gun that is very gas efficient, or one that is not. Same with HP.Comment

No one really cares about Low Pressure. They care about 3 things. Does your marker shoot accurately. (look at pbstar.com and that is proven.) Does it break balls? (level 10) Lastly is how efficient is the marker? That is something that needs to be worked on a bit. I can guarantee you that I get more shots out of my Black Magic than I get out of my retro Mag.
But I only play with my mag. I needed to get a cocker to see what the hype was all about.Comment

the mag specifically seems to be less effecient with lower pressure the hyper mag when it was being made was getting a decent increase in effeciency opperating at a higher pressure. rather what really needs to be done is figure out how to make the gun more effecient and see where the pressure ends up. I know of at least 2 places I believe slight changes could increase the mags effeciency and I think both could be done in level 10. so I hope that the beta we have will not be the final versionComment

guys guys guys, mags are already lp, lp has been defined as any marker with an opperating pressure under 500psi. Mags were the first lp semi auto markers any ways! thats why tom dosnt go lp, its because he already is
