What a great day to go 'ballin! 
Both Team Lions and Team Pride played a 5 man tourny at Sporeland in Zion, IL. I jumped on Jon's team, Runs With Scissors, and managed to get some play time in as well.
Of the 11 teams that attended, only the top 4 would advance to the finals. Every team had to play 9 games in the prelims with another 3 games if they made it to the finals. Gotta say that 12 games is a lot for any team to play and both the Lions and Pride got to do it.
The best part of the day was watching the Lions and Pride play each other twice. They played once in the semi's and once in the finals (which the Lions hung the flag with only 2 seconds left in the game). Needless to say, the Lions won both games.
The Lions didn't drop a single game in the prelims, although a few went to time, and went into the finals in 3 place. Pride dropped only 3 games and advanced into the finals in 2nd place. Runs With Scissors won 4 and dropped 5 to get 7th place overall. Not to shabby!
In the finals, the Lions won all their games to take 1st place and win 5 Smart Parts Impulses + trophys. Pride didnt manage a win and got 4th place and came home with trophys and other prizes.
All in all it was a great day and I really enjoyed playing with the Runs With Scissors team.
