this "Pay it Forward" idea all started over a year ago with a fellow over at the Brass Eagle Owners Group boards named BlackRain. i think its a great idea, ive been doing it for a couple of months now with little things i have that people need and i have. here is how it is described by its inventor, Blackrain:
"RULES:
ALL ITEMS ARE GIVEN AWAY FOR FREE! NO SHIPPING IS CHARGED.SOMETIME DOWN THE ROAD YOU HAVE TO HELP OUT A FELLOW PAINTBALLER WITHOUT EXPECTING SOMETHING IN RETURN."

a truely great and innovative program by a truely great guy. hell, i think hes even given away "paying it forward"(although he is never on the receiving end) a spyder or two

Clffio had a point when he said there was going to be a million PIF thread appearing soon. So I made a forum in my boards.

guys, ithink you are missing the point of pay it forward, at least in my eyes. for example:

Joe Newbie comes in and posts int he trade forum "i need a duckbill and a 10" hose". i post saying, "yeh, ill pay it forward and give them to you."

there is no need for the new forum or all "high tech" bidding on things. just give out some free stuff telling the person you expect them to return the favor to someone else in the future. heck, you can sometimes even recieve the favor

This is not a new idea. I have been giving stuff away free for 10 yrs now. I like to help out other players in need.

actully, there was a movie made where it was about pay it forward, it was really wierd, thats where the idea came from, the movies name is wierdly "pay it forward" (i think)

This is a great idea, especially where I live, there are no shops to speak of. I hooked a lot of people up with a lot of stuff last time I played. I don't know when or where it will come back to me, but it always does...

I saw that movie, it was pretty good. And everyone should watch it before they post their items for the pay it forward. Just playing, but watch it if you have time.
