Milling a hopper left barrel for hopper right

I did a search already and return no threads regarding who does this work? Anyone here on AO have access to a mill to do this? The reason I ask is I have a hopper left RT barrel (bought from Bman1967 very good seller ) And now I have a warp left body.. the r/t barrel won't work and I need someone to mill the twistlock to allow me to turn it the other way..(make it work with a hopper right body) Any takers? Givers? IDEAS?? Thanks...

I seriously though about it... I could have sworn I read a thread a while back that someone on AO will modify a barrel for cheap...guess I'll wait and see what the tide brings.. Thanks for the responses so far..

If its anything like a Minimag barrel and already has the full path milled but just a small 'blocker' on one, take a dremel to it.

I was considering doing something like this to my old SFHR body. I am righthanded...and was considering milling a hole on the left side and the feed neck to make a side feed for my warp. Only problem I have besides doing it....lol...is covering up a hole on the right side of gun.

No unfortunately with this barrel..it was only milled for hopper left. There's only one "L" groove for hopper left. I know my teardrop is ambedexterous... unfortunately this one isn't.. and I really like the look it gives my mag.. check my site and you'll see what I mean !

What you'll need to do is mill the L-slot into a T-slot. It shouldn't be too hard to do for someone who knows what they are doing. The critical thing though is to get the hole that the twist-lock pin locks into positioned in exactly the right spot, or else the breach hole won't line up and the barrel is pretty much useless on that side.

damageinc54 is the guy you should talk to. He's a machinist and has done a number of conversions for people making l/r feed barrels into center feed and he shouldn't have any trouble adding right-feed capability to your barrel. If you do a search for centerfeed barrels or centerfeed milling you should come up with lots.

Thank you soooo much... I looked into the doing it on my own... but it's hard to say if it can be done. There is a nubbin slot right about the place the twist-lock whole would be so I don't know.. I will definately pm damageinc54 to see what he can do Thank you very much for the info..I knew I had seen one and I searched barrel milling, hopper right to hopper left milling etc..just not centerfeed milling. DUH. Anyway thanx a million.

A nubin slot where the hole would have to be -- really? What make of barrel is this? I have a older emag stock barrel I bought from magman007, its a power-feed right barrel and was I going to mill it for center feed (and maybe pf left while I was at it). damageinc54 says his conversions to center feed make using pf right impossible, but I hear that AGD now makes barrels that fit all three positions and I think I may be able to do the same thing. I'd offer to mill yours too, but since I haven't done it before I think I'd suggest you go to someone with experience.
