    more upgrades

ok heres the "dilema" i just got 65 bux and im taking back these guitar pedals which is gonna get me 160 bux. now i know tis sounds stupid but i dont know wut to spend it on. theres too mcuh i can buy my gun needs a new barrel, upgrade to level 10, and maybe an rt valve, then theres the stuff i want such as electro grip, maybe the galactic z body, and maybe possibly after i have everything else a splash kit. NOW wut adds to the problem is unless someone tells me the galctic z body is apiece of crap and a gimik and worthless than i have to wait until i get this to get a new barrel since it only takes autpcocker barrels. o and someday i plan to upgrade my tank which isnt mandatory im just sick of running out of air and some people tell me that 3000psi tanks have slow recharge time. sooooo wut do i get first??? ok now im looking into barrels and i want THE most accurate barrel i can buy for a mag without i beaing a freak or big kit.

Definitely go with the 14 inch Smart Parts All American barrel. They are just as accurate, lighter, quieter, and cheaper than the DYE Boomstick!!! Then with the extra money buy the level 10! (Won't chop a ball, so you don't need to worry about getting an agitated loader!)

I have never owned a Z-body but I can refer you to a very good website www.pbreview.com It is a very good website, it might help you make decisions as to which upgrade you'd like to do. Personally, if you experience problems with chopping or exploding paintballs in the breach, I would have to highly recommend the lvl 10, if you can still get it.

Ok Lvl 10 is a must about the barrel thing if you get a Z-body then you need to get the barrel that is made for it(its got a REALLY big bore dia.) cause it wont shoot good with normall barrels if u dont want the Z-body then nuthin beats finding a used Boomy or BoA barrel of coaurse then theres the retor valve which will take most if not all the money you have but is well worth it

I've got a Dye Boomstick (Great barrel, but I'm trying to build my freak kit and the buttery smoothness of it is getting in the way )

Anyhow, its a great shape 14" Dye boomstick with a .691 bore. I would sell for 45-50 shipped depending on shipping options and stuff.

and if you dont have a retro yet, i would still buy the barrel, it the more expensive i believe

Just out of curiosity, what sort of effects?

Back to the question at hand.
What is your current set-up, and what are you looking to do with your Mag? What sorts of areas do you want to improve? What specific applications will it be used in most? Answers to these questions will help us suggest what you might want to look for.
BTW, all decent barrels shoot similarly with quality, well-matched paint. That has been my experience, and the experience of many others. But, if you do want a z-body, you need a big bore, period.
Also, I have never had any problems with rechage rates on 3K systems. Near or below the output pressure, rates will drop. However, unless you rip, it probably won't be an issue. Also, any advantage, I think, is only when and if your tank is filled above 3K (which at some fields is not possible, unfortunately).

Get a J&J 2 piece barrel. They are basically a Boomstick clone, just with a lower price tag.

but no where near the quality as a boomstick
j&j's are pretty crappy if you ask me

lapco bigshot or autospirit! Some of the most accurate barrels out there. They only cost ~$45 so that would leave you plenty of money to get another upgrade or two.

i have a total of $225. abd it looks like the boomstick is the winner but still a lot of different opinions. i dont think im gonna go electro cuz its just too expensve (same with retro) and my dad is all anti upgrade ur gun he has a point zero and beat me once and never let me forget it. so i think im gona upgrade my barrel and that might be it. thanx anyway though
