Regulator question

The input goes through the bottom and you adjust the pressure on the side.

No prob. It took me a few minutes to figure it out, too. I did'nt know the little red plastic thing at the bottom was just a thread protector.

Oh well, mine came with a red plastic bit screwed into thebottom of the reg to keep dirt and crap from getting in there.

On the bottom I have a black thing that unscrews but there is no place i can see to put my hose,in that piece?I'm lost.
