    Boo yaah spec. Help.

    Hi
Anyone know if the boo yaah will run ok on 12v and what the typical current drain is. It seems to run ok on the charger, but discharges/lacks power on (new) batteries.
I am looking at mounting a small 12v battery in a ally box, at the bottom of the grips! I have found a small 4"x1.5"x1", 12v, 1.4ah battery that looks like it will do the job. But I am worried about running 12v through it.
    Thanks in advance.

If you look back a week or so, you will find my post called MY MARKERS. I have a BOO YAAH grip on mine and wired in a 9.6v turbo r/c battery and strapped it to my tank. It works great without running the chance of frying the guts of my grip. I picked up everything , battery, charger, connectors at Radio Shack. Actually here's a better pic.

Actually picked up the 12v, 800ma. A bit of soldering/crimping, mounts up perfect on the flat side of my revolution. Seems to work ok....no correction, works excellently! The battery I ended up with came from maplins. It's about 3/4"x4"x2.5" in size.
