    Lvl 10 and tank longevity

I used my Lvl 10 Retro this weekend at the AO meet. I have the 1.0 carrier and the mid spring installed and there is no way I can break paint in it. Even if I hold a ball in the breach and hammer away at it, it won't break. When I installed my Lvl 10 I had to greatly increase the velocity adjust nut, about 3/4 to a full turn. I had to raise the velocity again once I chronied the gun to get it near 280. They only filled my 88/45 to about 4k, and the tank was hot so once it cooled down I guess I had about 3.5 to 3.8 k in it.

Now my question is. 1)Is it just me or did the Lvl 10 with the much stronger spring shoot my efficency to hell? 2)Was it the incomplete fill that made me think I killed the tank too quick? 3)Has anyone else had this feeling? 4)Doesn't the larger spring and the drastic increase in required air pressure cause the gun to use more air?

    Thank you.

Heh I was thinking the same thing, until i got a good 4.5k fill. I kept thinking to myself "Why am i getting retardedly good efficency all of a sudden?!?!" as i went the rest of the day on the 1 fill. So yeah starting at 4.5k makes a big difference.

That is hat I thought but since I have one of the biggest tanks you can buy I was concerned. A 114/45 is out of the question, but I think it might be a weak fill, anyone else want to weigh in?

our field only has 2 small scubas to fill CA. This means we get a maximum of about 1500psi each fill. Consider yourself lucky to get a 3.5k fill
