    ah yes...the wallet issue...i'm sure it will be more of an issue to try to get a variety of bores with this dye system...but i guess we'll see.

      are you talking used inserts? becuase sometimes the paint gets scratched off and it might scratch of the # if you put it in a bad spot

      EDIT: based on that pic its the same as the freak when you screw it in

        Actually, it's entirely different than the freak. It's the entire back, not an insert. This means that it will be quite a bit more expensive, but cheaper than buying complete Boomsticks now. I envision buying a 12" .692 and a 10" .688 and having four different barrels. Perhaps I would buy a .684 back at some point, but probably not.

          ask any freak user how many and what sizes of inserts they use on a regular basis, and you've pretty much got your answer of what ID size of backs you'd need. And, with no worries about crushing a small aluminum insert (not that anyone has, right )
