sweet boggerman, you have to tell us more about it. do you break much paint? and i heard that you can take that off if you dont want to use it, and then put in a normal breech so to speak, and then use just normal cocker barrels. maybe you should take some more pics and explain that a little. I think the vertical feed flatline cockers are better than the right feed ones.

You can't use a normal cocker barrel unless you had someone make a custom adapter block. If you look real close you can see that the body is milled off back to the vert feed and the flatline mounts in a special block that is angled to match the curve of the flatline. The flatline only seems to work well with marbs or other medium to large bore dry-shell paint, this means that I have to keep seperate paint for the cocker and my emag, as I still can't get my warp to run dry-shell paint. I looked at getting a regular vert feed body, but could not even find a stock body for less than $100, so I alrerady sold the flatline cocker. I am looking for a normal cocker like an STO or even a Black Magic, if the price is right, as I actually did like the cocker and just learned to adjust and time it right before I sold it. I made like $135 on the deal and now have around $400 to spend on a cocker to replace the flatline. If I had been able to put a normal barrel on it, I would have kept it for sure, it had all I want from a cocker - hinge frame, vert feed, STO pneumatics. And TNS, I agree the the vert feed flatlines are much better looking than the right feeds.

I thought I'd revive an old thread, just because I'm sure there's more new Cockers out on AO now .

                      Fake STO ram?!?!?

OK, first I bought this off ebay, so I guess you get what you pay for, but has anyone seen/heard off fake STO rams? I got this "Orracle" front block kit and it looked good at first, but when I tried to put my cocking rod on the ram, it would not go. No big deal, I just read about a guy with the same problem with a different ram. I cleaned up the threads on both the ram and cocking rod with a tap and die. Still tight, so I oiled up the threads and started putting them together, well I just twisted off the end of the ram in the cocking rod!

So I am wondering if this ram may be a cheap copy or if I am just a gorilla with a pair of pliers??
