Changing the pivot on Benchy 2x Frames

This may sound crazy, but ppl complain about the long pull of the Benchmark 2x frames. What I was wondering was, what if the pin is tapped out, the trigger removed, a new pivot point be drilled right beside it closer to the grip (in between original hole and safety hole).

This should change the geometry of the trigger pull to make it effectively shorter right?

It would be easier to drill and tap a trigger stop behind the trigger.
Go Intelli, it's a better product.

That's what I did to both my Benchmark frames. (Drilled and tapped them, then replaced them with a Intelli)

I've moved the pivot point on trigger frames before.

Depending on where the pivot is in relation to the contact with the pushrod you may shorten or lengthen the actual pull.

I'm not sure it will make a dramatic difference to the length of pull but can be used to alter the angle of the trigger (why I did it) and that may make the gun feel much better for you.
