What kind of marketing do Ya'll think AGD should do?

For example; t-shirts, caps, head bans, jerseys, pants, new "pretty" boxes, etc.

I would like a full clothing line I really couldnt care less about the boxes but if it gets more people to buy mags then i say go for it. I wouldnt mind seeing a few more ads in the paintball magazines as well.

i think they should stick to guns... mabey a jersey but thats it. cause they already have hats and the boxes are a good idea.

More BIG color 2 page ads, like the rt pro one they used to have, and the flat line one, that si the add that got me to buy my rt pro, it was very tempting and i display it prouldy in my paintrball collage up on my wall. its the center of it, to bad there isnt one like that for an e-mag... there should be one for the extreme tho... and the extreme should come in a box like the ir3....

maybe if they could get a picture of a Level 10 Extreme pinching a ball.... or a series of pictures that shows the bolt stopping on the ball. then make a 2 page ad. and have the words...

"Can your Angel do that?" printed under the pics, with the AGD logo on each side

a Jersey would be cool. and maybe some boxers with a little E-mag pattern on them
I'm going through paintball withdrawal, I haven't been able to play since November 2003!

R-i-g-h-t, last I checked Angels didn't have a ball chopping problem..

AGD are going to need to need more than a box or a new ad. Most paintballers are teenagers and young adults, do they care about how "reliable" a gun is? Ofcourse not! The average player loves the shinny chrome parts and the ability to cut and color a body to their wildest desire. That is partly why the Autococker and Angel are so popular. Besides aluminum bodies on ALL Automags, AGD also has to encourage "elf" products. Kids LOVE to be able to "sup" up their toys. Just look at what some kids do to Civics and other cars of that nature.

AGD needs to come up with something "new and fresh" to pull away attention from all the guys going over to the 'Cockers and Angels. And the Extreme is a tad high to draw them over. Aluminum bodies should be made for the lower end Automags, so when they finally reach the point of buying a $1,000+ gun, its a no brainer. Right now, the Angel is the "status" symbol, and when you have enough cash, that is THE gun to buy...

AGD is taking steps on good marketing.

Extreems will be aluminum, good for customibility(Dark Emag, Dye Emag, SFL Emag, etc). They now have teams doing tourneys spreading the word. AGD is hinting a clothing line and new boxes. Don't worry by next year, AGD will be a paintball name to be reckoned with.

But will this be good? Prices will be inflated, the mag will no longer be unique to some peoples eyes, etc.

                  And 22 'other' guns..

Exactly, thats my "Shiney, Movey thingy theory" people like things that are shiney, and move. and of course the costomizable factor... lemmings marching blindley off the cliff
