    I've had both and I personally prefer the CP kit. Nice fit and finish and the more durable in my opinion.

      covad,which kits have you had? the CP and the ??? im interested if it was the JJ kit. those are the two im looking at right now...

        go with the freak and put an all american tip on it and you will have the best shooting barrel out there, besides smart parts is better than custom products

          I've had both the CP Kit and the Freak. The Freak in my Opinion was too flimsy. The CP kit, which I use on my Mags and my Timmy's has held up far better. The J&J Edge kit is almost identical to the CP kit. From there you must decide on looks.

            Im partial to the OTP-G3 Dream Series barrels ... but I dont think they make these for Automags sorry.
