does a 99 sto with a stock barrel and with some kind of on off drop sound preatty good for 500 so he could buy a different cocker with a hinge and he hates hinges so he will trade me triggers so it would come with a hinge so what do you guys thing about the deal i need a new gun to upgrade also for a back up gun. thx

also i know the person and he has not messed with it so it wont be screwed up when i get it

Hmmm... not so sure. With a hinge, I'd say probobly, if it's in immaculate condition.

You gotta consider the fact that NEW STOs are 599.99 if I remember right...

The 99 STO is the best STO of the lot, I'd pay $500 US for one in excellent condition. The newer STO's just don't perform as well as the 99, I find.

Note that 99 STO bolts can be difficult to come by, but other than that, all the parts are stock compatible.
