    Paintball tank for AIRBRUSH?

Does anybody know if I could use my N2 or co2 tank for an airbrush? Anybody know the thread size (in inches) that paintball tanks have too?

No sweat, I've done it myself.

You'll need a regulator no matter what- the Rock reg for 'Cockers works great unless you have a big brush and lots of paint. It also goes down to the 40-ish-psi you'll need for the 'brush, wereas most "supply" or "inline" regs won't adjust that low reliably.

For CO2, just plug the Rock straight into the tank: If you're using a big bulk tank, get a CGA320 nut and washer, attach the Rock directly, and plug the 'brush hose in to the Rock's 10-32 nipple outlet. (I recommend a strain-relief of some sort.)

For Nitrogen or HPA tanks (bulk tanks, anyway, like a SCUBA tank or industrial nitrogen) you'll need a full size regulator like a Victor or Scott designed for a welder or torch assembly. They're expensive, but not horribly so, and very reliable. Most will easily regulate low enough to run the 'brush directly.

You can plug that Rock into a screw-in type HPA system or CO2 tank, with a remote-hose adapter, too, for easy portability. Don't expect it to last long though- if you're quick and don't change colors too much, you can get a good T-shirt, maybe two, per fill.

    Doc.

I have an adjustable tank, so I wouldn't need a regulator, right? If not, is there some sort of adapter I should get?

Only if your adjustable tank can output 40psi. Aairbrushes work on a much lower pressure than paintball markers.
