Yes, I was being crazy when I decided to cut the barrel that short.

Does it still shoot at a decent range? When I did that to a tippmann barrel paint just rolled out.

Super short barrels

I've been playing with a super short barrel for years!

I took a hacksaw to the stock barrel that came with my mag and then filed down the edges a bit. Not very elegant...heck not even very straight, but it's fun to play with.

I've got 3 barrels, one ported, one brass, and the one I've named "Stumpy". I only use the brass and "Stumpy" now.

About the range - you'll have to crank down the velocity screw to get it to go around 300 and it'll be LOUD...really really LOUD. But it will shoot about the same distance. I was playing about 3 weeks ago and I was trading long ball shots with a guy that was using an autococker and about a 12" ported barrel. Our balls were passing each other in mid-air and he got me in the leg at the same time I got him in the mask. Funny thing was, as we were walking on the field he told me "you must not get much range with that thing", I just smiled and said "eh...it goes far enough".

Ya know, if you keep using Co2 you will eventually (sp?) blow your micro line, talk to Tunaman and get some Parker macroline.

Me likey the barrel... now all you need to do is port it.

Hehehe I realy do like her though. Have all her cook books! And watch her show from time to time. She realy is an amazing business woman, smart and rather attractive... and either hated or loved. No in between. Funny picture though!
