snakebite,
are you referring to paintball city? that's the field that i frequent since its so close to my location and i can catch the bus there. its a little costly though, but the field owner is pretty cool and he does do group rates.

CROG- It may be a good idea to make the date some time next Spring, so we can get plenty of outta-staters. Cleveland would be nice, there is also a field in Chardon, Pinnacle Woods, heard it is decent.
BTW- I am still here in Chicago for another month till I move to Chesterland..Comment

I was just down at Pinnacle woods the other week. It is mostly woods, but they do have a Pyperball field. The only problem is that the paint is a bit more costly, 80 bucks a case to be exact. Also, it is very think-shelled. Other than that, it is a nice setup."My Jell-O is dying in the audience..."

i think we shoudl do one late fall or early spring maybe if we could find an indoor place have it there sometime this winter. i really think it should be a few months away so we can get people from all over to come, like the nj ao meet. indian springs has decent prices but is outdoor only but we can schedule it so we have a private field. northeast survival paitnball is the field snakebite78 is talking about and i belive its located in parma and they have an indoor field as well as an outdoor. another good choice would be the splatterpark.Comment

i think late fall is plenty of time to get this organized and for the non-locals to plan on it. i was thinking early to mid october. anyone else have an input?Comment

It might be problematic getting some out of towners to clear up their schedule enough to make it in the early fall. By late fall, things might get a little iffy weather-wise, and there aren't too many indoor facilities that I know of that would hold many people. Paintball city would be a possibility, but other than that I can't say that there are any large enough.
If we want this to be something on the larger side, then it looks as if our best bet will be outdoor fields, as they are obviously the most accomodating to larger groups. I don't know of any consolidated indoor/outdoor parks in the area, but that could simplify things.
Considering weather, and planning, an outdoor venue might be best played in the spring. It is possible to get something together by early fall, but it seems that there are a few who might feel a little rushed, especially if they are out of state. It is possible that the longer people have to plan, the more likely they will be to come.
On the flip side, I suppose it is possible that if we wait too long, interest might wane in favor of possible meets in other states. And, there is no telling how an Ohio spring will turn out.
I suppose the best bet right now is to gauge preferences: indoor or out, spring or fall?"My Jell-O is dying in the audience..."
