Building Mech gun - Need RT Pro sear?

This might be a possible technical question - but I thought I'd post it here since it involves level 10 and the resurfacing of older mags as well. (breathing new life into the old girl...)

I'm buildling a new mag based on spare parts. It has an intelliframe, both AIR and Retro valves (I've got one of each), standard AGD rail, SP freak, level 10 kit, warp main body, and warp feed. This will be a "loaner" and will also allow me to play with my AIR valve once in a while. My question is, does the new RT Pro have the same upgrade (with bearing) sear that the the old model did? (I think the Emag has it too) I want to get the silky smooth butter trigger of the old RT using the ReTro valve - and think that there is a slight difference in the trigger "feel" due to the plain-jane mag sear that came with the kit.

I checked the online store and there is no RT pro sear available. There is a mag/mini-mag, but that is of no use.

Does anyone know if AGD will sell the RT Pro sear? (assuming it is like the old RT sear) If so how much? If not, will the old RT sear work in a standard mag body? Does anyone have a spare RT/RT-Pro sear for sale?

I'll be at the IAO if anyone up there will have one.

just get the one you saw in the store....

when i got my ReTro valve it came with a new sear assy... was the exact same as the one i already had in my mini and i never used it untill i built my micro.... and neiter one shows anysign of adnormal wear.... i belive only the old RTs need the different sear assy (other then the Emag for obvious reasons) (just remember the RTPro/ReTro/Emag valves are teh same except the E uses a quad oring in the on/off otherwise they are identical for all intents and purposes)

      RT Sear

You will need an RT Pro or Emag body rail. The sear pin hole in the rail is threaded, unlike the Mag sear pin.

I Belive that the RTs, RT and Emags have a bearing race inserted into the sear for smoother pull. (Need to check the Emag tonight) I'm wondering if the RT Pro has one also. (Like the old RT was reputed to have)

I've got the "regular" sear and it works fine - but I'm looking for extreme performance

          You are correct

So that being said, you will need to either tap the Mag rail for the threaded sear pin, or just get an rt Pro/Emag rail, sear, and Pin.
