Lock in those hoppers and Warp tubes

Well after playing with the warp and ricochet numerous times. I've come to the conclusion that there needs to be a better way to lock these hoppers and tubes in so that they don't fall out. I love playing in the front and its' really hard to move with the fear of dropping my hopper or having one the warp fitting fall off. After reading on warpig.com about the rough neck... I was wondering if AGD would come up with a similar idea to make the warp and even the center feed guns more lock tight for the rough and tumbling players. Just a thought.

I agree COMPLETELY. I hate it when anything feels loose... I just cannot move around as well.

I used to have my warp setup wierd... and sometimes the hose would pop out, while I was shooting, causing a STREAM of paintballs to fly to my knees But I have taken care of that with my new setup!

I used to have that problem with my warp as well. I never felt that my revvy or hose were completely secure on my warp so it impaired the way I played. Now, I'm using a dye feed spacer on my revvy so that really helps and some teflon tape to hold the hose a little better.

The AGD store sells o-rings for the warp hose. They recommend putting three on each side. Worked like a charm. As for my revvy, it always seemed as though it might be a problem, but never has been. Go figure.

What I did was glue a small peice of medium grit sandpaper on the inside of one of my warp halves. Then you loosen the top 3 screws on your warp. Drop your hopper in and tighten the whole thing down. The grit keeps the revy from spinning and the extra bit of material keeps everything nice and tight. I was too cheap and impatient to buy a hopper spacer. Between that and my warp hose running up through my revy it's very solid.

I second Miscues recomendation for the Hopper hole Modification. It is a real all around good solution. Locks the hopper on and protects the hose too. Plus you can then turn the warp in to the marker as tight as you want it. Easy and cheap. Both holes end up through the right side of the hopper so converting the hopper back is like $5 for a new right side. A one inch hole saw on a drill and some carefull marking and your in business!

AGD, where we are so good we can do it with only ONE tube!

It's kinda not an option for us warp-ricochet users. Which is what Wackomin was expressing dislike for.

Anyway try the sandpaper like Load, and for the hose get some of those o-rings, that hose doesnt move anywhere.

Yeah really, in my efforts to not walk into my bunkers and play a little more aggressively, i slid into my bunker and my halo flew off the warp and the battery door broke off and the batteries went flying... suffice it to say i was a sitting duck and very unhappy!

I think AGD should come out with a warp shell that fits perfectly with the ric. The ric feed neck is kind of "ribbed" What if AGD came out with like a warp shell like that. so the feedneck and the warp slide together and lock in place..kinda...ok my idea was kind of dumb.

Get electrical tape...Wrap it around what ever is loose..and then jam it in. Did this to my Revvy on Warp...it works great.
