The first one is okay but someone needs to go back to school.... "Freedman is a lawyer and journalist." is what it says about the author..... and for a lawyer and journalist you would think he could at least get the terminologies correct.... sheesh

And the second one... that is terrible, but I have seen FAR worse, and not concerning paintball. I don't see this as necessarily bad for the sport in itself. They should be caught and prosecuted to the full extent of the law though.

The only disappointment came when we had to sign a waiver releasing the paintball facility from any liability for injury. For a thoroughly American experience, it would have been nice to follow up on the day with a bracing round of litigation.
              hahaha! The perfect lawyer quote.

I wrote an email to the author of the second one, it was a nice email, don't worry, and I explained the facts to him.

It sounds like the guy who wrote the first one was kind of a nerd... I've never heard anyone use the terms "private, HQ, etc" whenever I was playing...

huh? sounds more like a basic training exercise than a pb game in the woods. Private? HQ? Battle plans based on Waterloon? Who the hell do they think they r french troops under Napolian?! It's this type of things that make paintball sound like it's a game played my military wanabees.

Yeah really. It even sounds like he's never played, but perhaps saw it played?

The second one's not that bad, mainly it didn't focus on paintball, just vandalizing in general.
