Can i get an I.D. on this barrel please you zealots? Thanks!

Hey guys. I just got a barrel in a trade. There are no markings on it but I was told its a jacko. I know its not the infinity, and thats the only jacko I know. Anyhow, If I post some pics could you zealots (great word, i know), try to clue me in to the model/bore/age/whatever on this barrel?

Thanks a lot guys. Its 13.75" long or so end to end and its got 2 "L" twist lock grooves, not a "T"

I'll let the pictures speak for the rest of it. Thanks guys.

LOL, those pics are terrible, im sorry.

Anyhow, guess I gotta describe it a little more. its got these indentations running down the last 6.5" of barrel, and small spiral patterned porting for the last 4". you can pretty much see how the rest of it looks.

    THANkS AGAIN!!

      Mossman, take some better pics.

I need to see the back and font clearly.

My best guess from those fuzzy alian photos is that someone stripped a Jacko and then drilled some extra holes.

I need to see if there is a Recess for a Gel

Or it looks like a 32* Whisper barrel, but it might not because of the 2 L-grooves instead of the new T-groove

definitly not a jacko cause theres no porting in the things that look like lines... its just indents.. maybe its some crazy home made barrel that someone came up with... or maybe its a BOA that someone decided to dent in straight lines... lol all i know is that it looks like BOA style spiral porting...

Jacko's had 3 barrel orings. That should tell you...

Yep! Well done, Pig... I too believe it's a 32* whisper harrel. My friend's got one for the sypder: quiet as all hell, but very inefficient.

Looks like the 32Degrees Jacko ripoff. Look down the barrel, if it's a step-bore, it might be a modifiedjacko, if it's smoothbore, it's the 32Degrees.

Its smoothbore, thats the reason I thought it wasnt the infinity. 32 degrees eh. eh.

I'll try to get some better pics for y'all. Theres no place for the gel jewel thing.

Guys, unless they changed the whisper its not a whisper. At least its not the whisper on their site.

This one is spiral ported, the front porting section is not raised, and the back is different (but that might just be because its for mag)

I can tell you thats its definately not a whisper barrel. 32degrees doesn't even make a whisper barrel for the automag. Get a better picture and we can help you more.
