E-Mag battery chargers covered under warranty?

Mine is not lighting up, or charging. I opened it up, but it looks like everything is fine with it. I need a new one, but they are $80 in the AGD store. Any suggestions on either sending it in, or finding a new one at a reasonable cost??

As always, thanks for your help...

I'm not sure about how the warranty deals with broken chargers, but I've seen a couple of them go on the Misc. Sales forums for $45-50. Not the best option, but cheaper than buying new.

    Hope that helps.

I don't know how old yours is, but mine was defective out of the box and they replaced it under warrentee.

I had trouble with one. Tom told me to check the fuse in the lighter adapter. Just screw off the chrome tip and the fuse will fall out. If it's bad, the metal piece in the glass will be in two pieces, just go to a local Radio Shack and pick up a few spares. They are not expensive. Try it out and see if that helps.

Good call RR, that should always be the first place to check if it doesn't even light up. Its a 5 amp fuse.
