yup, after seeing the scale of the piece, i'm gonna have to say that wyn and webby have it right on the nose. i didn't think that there was that much room between the end of the barrel and the part of the breech that the ball falls into though...

why would it have anything to do with the reg.

because, to get their level10's to work, some people have to turn their velocities up so far that air leaks out the back. this would be a very effective (but dangerous) work around

it looks like a ss regulator piston. maybe its to allow higer preasure for wider fps ranges.

Round1 - cupping a paintball to be hit by the bolt



Round2 - with the ball cought by the edge of the cup and the edge of the bolt... this is the worst case scenario for chopping a ball because it's putting force on a very small area of the ball.
