                    Is it a Mark 4??

I have the picture on page 26 of The Complete Guide To Paintball (Robbo has a couple articles in this one .) Anywho, if you would like the picture, I'll post it as soon as I can get my scanner working!!!

This may not be the oldest, but man this gun cranks up the 'way back machine'. This gun was the first full auto I ever say back in 88'. I almost bought it but the gun needed a 0.62 paintball. very hard to find. It was very useful as a 'terror' gun, because most newbees never heard a marker with a ROF of 16BPS. Back then pumps were the name of the game.
.... where is my fireplace and rocking chair and Ill spin ya' a yarn.

I actually have one of these. SN# 2607. it aint the fastest, best, or most accurate. but its lightest (3lbs) and is a great backup in a pinch.

Man this baby was a gas hog. To make it useful, you had to get a 9oz tank on the back, and a 4oz tank on the front.
...too bad markers dont have that "tiger stripe" look anymore.

                            Nelson 707

This is easily the oldest paintball gun. It's a Nelson 707, which came before the 007. This particular example (held by its proud owner, Dave "Paintball Dave" Rudig) is even older than other 707s, as it's either a prototype or pre-production model, as evidenced by the white plastic spacers between the barrel and gun body (production guns had metal spacers).

More info and pictures are at http://airsoldier.com/~haveblue/museum/nelson707/
