    Aaargh! Level 10 Help Please!

Ok guys, getting rather po'd with this. Here's the story:

    First, my setup:
    -Automag lvl. 10
    -Hyperframe
-the other stuff is really non-essential

SO I had it set up with the folllowing lvl. 10 setup for a tournament a few weeks ago:

    -carrier w/ 2 grooves
    -small spring
    -2 shims

Worked great, no problems there. After the tournament (couple days) I noticed that the bolt no longer wanted to reset. So I moved up through the mainsprings thinkng that would help, no dice. Then I read about putting in more shims; so I did that too (now I'm up to all 5), stilll no luck.

    Now I have:
    -carrier w/ 2 grooves
    -large spring
    -5 shims

And now not only will it not reset, it also doesn't always stop on my squeegee.

    I'm really stumped, please help.

correct me if i'm wrong..but go back to a more even setup...start with the #2 Carrier/2 Shims and the longest spring...I'm quoting Tunaman from my fine tuning thread..but you want to go to the loosest carrier and longest spring without leaking to stay on the bleeding edge of LX...

              All wrong here

OK lets start over...what happened was your carrier lossened up after break in. It was no longer sealing after it broke in and oil got on it. Thi sis normal. YOU SHOULD GO TO THE NEXT TIGHTER (smaller numbered) CARRIER THEN!!! In your case go to the 1.5. You had the 2.0 in there and it broke in and loseend up and it was not sealing around the piston anymore.

For heavens sakes people break these things in before you play or this is gonna happen to you.

Its not the spring or shims when this happens it the carrier lossening up. Adjust it and break the new one in and it will be good for a long long time.
