    Adding a shim does...

    Removing a shim does...

    Going to a bigger carrier does...

    Going to a smaller carrier does...

    someone fill in the blanks.

    Adding a shim does... acts like a powertube spacer to stop barrel leaks

    Removing a shim does... same as above

    Going to a bigger carrier does... decreases the friction of the oring

    Going to a smaller carrier does... increases the friction

    someone fill in the blanks.

    By using the longest spring, and the loosest carrier that doesnt leak will be the easiest on paint, but will be on the edge of being fine tuned.
