What do the Middle Players do?

I play middle for my team. I know that Middle Players are supposed to get most of the kills in a match. But what exactly do they do at the breakoff? What bunkers do they go to? How could I practice to become a good middle player?
    All information is well-appreciated.

Off the break run to the 20-30 and start shooting. Shoot lots. When one of your front players is taken out of a key bunker, replace him and take it.

You are generally the swing man, you get to choose where youre shooting based on whats going on. You are the relay between the backers and front guys for calls. As said you fill positions when front guys get painted or advance deep. Depending on the game and field you can usually walk on the break gun up firing to the 20-30 bunker because most paint is flying to the tapes. You are the eyes on the break because you are one of the few walking. Very easy to play bait and switch with your front guys and get easy shots. Usually the guy that runs to his death to break open a game if its stalling and you are numbers up. Hope that helps.

Practice snap shooting. It is probably the most important skill in the game.

I would remove the probably, it IS the most important skill in the game. We dedicate a solid hour of one on one 40 to 40 bunker snapping at each practice. Everyone does it, backers on backers, front guys on backers, front on front, etc. It will keep your guys from getting chumped and improve your chumping of others

don't just take the bunker. if the frontman got hit, figure out who hit him, and remove that threat from the game before you put yourself into the bunker that was threatened by whoever shot your frontman. if you just run up right after the front man is hit, you'll probably get shot by the same guy
