All this plastic sniffing is probably giving us a raging case of brain damage. My Revvy didn't smell bad, just plastic-y, but my VL pods smell like, well, yeah...

All colored revvie's made out of the newer poly carbinate(aka dont break in hopper hits) smell HORRIBLE.
Why? I have no idea. I have fun with it at fields though "hey my hopper smells like peaches!" *guy smells it, starts gagging*

Yah..I got a new shell a couple weeks ago and I could smell the stinch before opening the box..I think its the resin they use to preserve the plastic.. keeps it from becoming brittle. Too bad they could add some febreeze to the mix..then it'd have no smell.. YUCK!

My clear revy stank "out of the box."
I'd have to describe the smell as if someone ate a moldy fish that was encased in swiss cheese, waited 20 minutes, threw up on a dead cat, then rubbed their corn-infested foot all over it.
Hopefully nobody lost their appetite there, but in all seriousness the hopper refuses to smell even close to halfway decent. I could put it on my marker and offer people a few trial shots...and the first thing they comment on is the smell of the hopper.
At least I'm not the only one with a stinky loader.Comment

Since I bought mine, the strong cheese/animal dung smell is very apparent. Mine is a smoke, but I thought that it was normal!Super Moderator at www.pbreview.com
