ok today me and my freind did a 1 on1 and we were in bunkers about 20 feet away form each other and and we had our heads sticking out exchanging paint. then we both sticked our heads out at the same and fired and about 5 of each others balls hit each other in mid air and sprayed paint ! it was like a paint dust cloud! and the funny part was one of the balls bounced off another ball and hit the guy watching in the stomach!

i have done that before,but it was only like 1 ball hitting his 1 ball,so it wasnt like a big explosion or anything,and it definitly didnt bounce off each other and hit someone...

Yea I've seen it happen many times. You can usually see one on the break in bigger games or games where guys shoot lots of paint.

Never had a ball bounce on another one in fly.
But when we play in 7vs7 we see quite often our balls break in the air.

One of my front players avoided once a full face by shooting the incoming paintball two meters before his mask
That's what I call active defense .

yeah it has happened to me several times but i have not been able to see it because it is when someone is posting on me and i am snap shooting so i never had got to see that happened people always call paint check on me because they saw the paint splatter but it was the balls hitting in mid air

One time I had this funny thing happen. Back in the old days of the pump guns I took a quick pot shot at my friend (we were just playing in some wooded field). I thought I hit him but he denied it. I went up there to look at him and sure enough he had no paint on him, however when I looked at his gun I noticed a small amount of green paint on his barrel. (he was shooting orange and I had green) We looked down his barrel and sure enough I had sent one almost straight down his barrel. It was pretty funny.

The shot down the barrel story (which I have done before) reminds me of an incident I was involved in. I was playing in a long-sleeve shirt with loose cuffs, and I had a paintball go inside my cuff and roll up my sleeve into my shirt, at which point it fell out. Quite a narrow miss.

Never seen the mid air paintball collision. However, when I was playing recently, it was hot as hell on a hot day and I was sweating pretty much through everything I was wearing.

During a game, I felt a hit in my midsection and looked down to see if it broke. While the ball didn't break, it was so humid and I was so sweaty that the ball actually stuck to my t-shirt.
