    warpfeed warrenties?

I bet I spelled that wrong, but would anyone know what type of warrenties are on warp? One of mine spins constantly, I cant fix it and no one knows why it is doing it. Think AGD would fix it for free?

I know you probably did this, but did you adjust the sensitivity? And, uh, tech forum.

I've done that and messed with the jumpers. There was a thread in the tech forum, Im not asking how to fix it, but about warrenties.

i'm pretty sure agd has a 90 day warranty for warps. i hope this helps. also how new is it , cause when i first put a battery in my warp it spun for some time then stopped. since then it has been fine. might be the motor just needs to break itself in. good luck with it.

Are you sure the jumpers that set up how it spins, whether intellifeed +/- or sensor, are set up right?

yeah, I've set them up both ways. Spins constantly intellifed to a emag and with the radioshack parts, and set for sensitivity. It spins with the board and motor detached from the housing and sensor too. The white button isnt stuck either.

it's not the warp, it's either your board settings or a bad rollerswitch hook-up.

Settings should be correct, they are just like my other warps, and the intellifeeds work on my other warps too, when set for intellifeed.....

well, what could of happened is the connection to the roller switch is getting closed directly at the wires so when it's on, it spins and spins. Take off the plug cover and make sure the wires are properly seperated by electrical tape. Even if you put tape on(which I'm pretty sure you did) it could have moved out of place when you screwed the plug cover on.

It spins constantly, whether intellifed or not intellifed, with the jumpers set correctly and the sensitivity all the way down.

Edit-- I heat shrinked over the connections. It works with 2 other warps. An emag warp harness also works, on 2 others, but not this on.
