How big is Shatnerball really going to be?

OK how big exactly is it exactly. We are a few days away. There will be walk ons for sure. Are we looking at 1000, 1500, 2000, 2500, or 3000. Are the teams evenly seperated?
Where is Wayne? We have never heard from the XO and very little from our commander. We need to rally the Troops and get some final assimilation in were.

I have heard all those numbers, up to 4000 people! The biggest I have played ever have been the Michigan Monster Games... never higher than 2k.

What kind of goodies are Tom and Wayne gonna bring to help us annihilate the opposition?!?!
